SermonCast features the recorded preaching archives of Bob Russell, retired Senior Minister of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
“One of the most gifted preachers in America.” –Chuck Colson–
At just twenty-two years of age, Bob became the pastor of Southeast. Today that small congregation of 120 members has become one of the largest churches in America, with more than 26,000 members. Bob retired from Southeast in June 2006.
BOB RUSSELL MEDIA
Bob Russell continues to have a worldwide Bible-teaching and leadership ministry.
“It’s amazing how many of the younger people get their information from the Internet and how effective the Internet is for sharing information. We all know there’s a lot of evil that takes place there, but the church has an incredible opportunity to take the gospel worldwide on the Internet. I do think we have to be careful that we don’t become so super concerned wit the coolness of our website or the edginess of the gospel that we preach, that we detract from Jesus’ call for us to be counter culture and distinctive people.” Bob Russell

Bob Russell Ministries produces Bible studies; provides training and mentoring of young pastors; and promotes unity among Christian churches and denominations through leadership training to local congregations.
Bob and his wife Judy have two married sons and six grandchildren.
Building the Future by Preserving the Past
More than 35,000 people came forward to receive salvation during Bob Russell’s 40 year ministry at Southeast.
These messages are preserved here so that this rich legacy – of faithfully preaching the gospel and helping others grow in Christ – will be passed on to future generations.
“In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.” (1 Timothy 6:19)
